Application

The traditional fields of application of live storage racks are:

Where First-In, First-Out is desired or necessary.

Material feed for the assembly line.

Here the live storage rack often forms a part of a KAN-BAN (or Two-Bin) strategy.

Order picking situations with many order lines per day and

a limited volume per order line. For this, the product range is often split:

- Fast movers with a large volume per order line placed on accessible pallets.

- Fast and medium movers with limited volume per line placed in live storage racks.

- Slow movers in traditional shelving or pallet racking placed outside the main route.

In addition, Original Flowrack flow shelves work extremely well

with pallet racking (existing or new).

The flow shelves are built into the lowest part of the pallet racks.

This creates an efficient order picking area in combination with bulk storage.
